Illegal Parking Officers at Mini Market to Be Controlled

Jakarta Transportation Agency is about to illegal parking officers operate at mini market. As planned before, the controlling will be carried out next week.

Jakarta Transportation Agency Head, Syafrin Liputo, said the parking area at the mini market is an area included in the public facilities provided for customers. Therefore, anyone who takes advantage and triggers public unrest will be dealt with firmly.

"But there are individuals who take advantage of it even though the management says it's free. They regulate, then force people to pay for parking and this is what we will take action against," he said, Wednesday (5/8).

He added until now, there are a number of mini market managers who have posted free parking announcements, but in practice there are still individuals who charge fees.

Syafrin continued will apply sanctions for minor crimes (Tipiring) against illegal parking officers who still dare to operate.

According to him, the study of the implementation of sanctions and law enforcement actions does not only involve Satpol PP ranks. His party has also routinely coordinated with the Police and Prosecutor's Office.

For people who find the practice of illegal parking officers at mini markets, Syafrin appealed to report them via the Jaki or CRM application. He emphasized that every report will be followed up by the team that has been formed.

"Currently we are still in the discussion and coordination stage. Next week, we hope to have a schedule for when to go to the field," he closed.
